a tender hideaway
lovely cafes fruit shop soft beds great kindness
i discovered the trams and buses stopped near the hotel. the walk to vondelpark was like a dream. the soft beds became my haven each evening. it was clean, and i found such kindness in every corner of the place.
the hotel is a bit outdated, and the carpets shows their age. there are stains all over the place, but is ok.

the double room felt spacious. a big window framed the world outside. double pillows added comfort to the lovely soft bed, and i slept soundly in my cozy retreat.

a nice continental breakfast began each day with simple pleasures. the lobby had lovely facilities. i saw soft beds and pillows there also, a really nice touch. the area seems nice to have meals.

the staffs attentiveness touched my heart. they provided tea and coffee readily. they even washed my clothes with kind hearts, just as i asked, they returned them to my room.

the location allowed long walks to centraal station. i found the van gogh museum super close. a tram stop sat less than five minutes away. the location have all i need.

a thankful stay
clean room polite staff great location
the room was clean. it had a nice view. i really appreciated the polite staff. the host was also great. the location was great. it was near a bus stop for airport transfers and also close to a tram stop for easy access to the centre.
i noticed significant hygiene issues. there was a strong sewage-like odor in the shower room and bedroom. the electric fans were visibly covered in dust. it made them unusable.

the hotel provides complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby area. the breakfast area is cozy with newspapers available. there are a variety of restaurants within a short walking distance.

The double room included a comfortable bed and good pillows. there was also a mini kitchen and all i needed to cook. the bathroom had great water pressure. I found this especially nice.

the location offered easy access to transportation. the tram stop is very close for journeys to the center. vondelpark is nearby.

the hotel offered a 24-hour reception, i felt safe! the building has bratte trapper (steep stairs), there is no elevator. the mini kitchen has all the needed cookware.

dusty room shower flooding
the location was decent enough. it was close enough to things.
i found the room to be quite dusty. i suspect the cleaning crew skipped a spot or two, or maybe all of them. also, the shower had this peculiar habit of flooding the bathroom floor. a minor inconvenience, i suppose.

worn carpet street noise
The room felt quite worn, it needs some updating. The carpet had noticeable stains. the noise from the street was louder than I expected, even late at night. I could hear a tram passing by.

stained carpeting old furnishings
the location was acceptable.
the room did not match the pictures online. the furnishings felt quite old, and the carpeting throughout the hotel had visible stains. it was also hard to open the window (which was a real pain).

The bus stop for airport transfers was near. a tram stop was close, and it was easy to get to the centre. a shop was nearby. That was useful.
the room was really quiet! though the stairs were steep.
